*Job description*Social Vocational Services is a nonprofit organization committed to serving the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities. SVS takes pride in its dedicated staff and is currently seeking dependable, caring individuals to become part of its team.*Position: *Activities Coordinator*Position Purpose:* The Activities Coordinator provides vocational and/or skills training to persons with developmental disabilities, coordinate and lead activities in one or more area of interest such as cooking, computer, art, sports/health and fitness, and leisure, develop weekly activity schedules and plans, and etc.*Duties and Responsibilities*· Serve on Clients' Person-Centered Planning Committee· Develop weekly activity schedules and plans· Identify and request materials necessary for planned activities· Coordinate and lead client activities in one or more area of interest such as: cooking, computer, art, sports/health and fitness and leisure· Identify and access local leisure/recreational resources· Pick-up and drop off clients according to written schedules· Record data on client objective· Follow SVS vehicle rules when driving SVS vehicles· Train and monitor clients in site specific safety procedures including infection control· Accept changes in assigned domain areas as directed· All other duties as assigned by Program Director*/*/* NEW HIRE BONUS - $750 hiring bonus after 60th day of full attendance (must work full shift to be counted towards the 60 days)*.*/*/* Refer family/friends - Receive employee referral bonus**Requirements: *Must pass a criminal background check and job-related physical.
