Kitchen Manager/ Cook - Infant Center

We are looking for a *responsible kitchen manager* to organize the kitchen and prepare meals for the children in our infant center. It is important for the kitchen manager to be careful and thorough with ordering, shopping, preparing, serving, and cleaning.The ideal candidate will be experienced in a food service role focused on providing nutritious food in a group setting; they will also be *ServSafe certified* and trained in the *Child and Adult Care Food Program*. Physical endurance, recordkeeping, and good time management are also necessary as two meals and one snack will be prepared and served daily for up to 20 children. This position takes place in an infant/toddler childcare center so being levelheaded, kind, and flexible are a must.A desire to incorporate a variety of healthy foods and ethnicities into *menu planning*, willingness to take required *trainings*, and diligence with daily *cleaning/sanitizing* tasks are key to this position. Interest in preparing baby food from scratch is encouraged. *A background check and fingerprinting are required for this position*.
