Job Description

PRC Composites is a small manufacturing firm, has an immediate opening for a Contracts Administrator to join the team. The Contracts Administrator, administers and manages all aspects and stages of the bid and contract lifecycle for specified aerospace, government and commercial customers. Candidates must have strong initiative, team work skills, time management, decision making, communication, and organizational skills.· Review RFP or bid specifications.· Research and interpret bid, contractual and projection requirements.· Draft bid requirement outlines to facilitate estimating process.· Maintain schedule and monitor progress/status of bids and proposals.· Monitor and communicate with estimating team. Update bid documents with changes.· Create/populate spreadsheets for price estimates. Compile comparative information, such as price history, and evaluate.· Present pricing overview and evaluation for approval.· Prepare submittal packages for bids and proposal.· Document bid and proposal results.· Establish, maintain and support customer relationships for assigned aerospace, military and commercial customers.· Respond to customer e-mails and phone calls in a timely manner.· Compile, review and evaluate contracts and associated contract documentation including NDA’s, contract amendments, and purchase orders for acceptance and acknowledgement.· Understand contractual requirements.· Ensure contract/purchase order requirements are flowed down to sales order.· Manage routing and execution of sales orders.· Provide contract-related issue resolution, internally and externally.· Manage record keeping for all bid and contract-related correspondence and documentation.· Ensure all information is filed correctly.· Monitor and complete contract close-out, extension or renewal, as appropriate.· Induct customer returned units into the repair process, quote repairs and track status.· Create weekly status reports.· Utilize MRP system as appropriate.· Work with confidential material.Experience/skills/abilities required· 2yrs of experience in prime or subcontract administration or related role.· General understanding of typical aerospace or government contracts, NDA’s and specifications.· Accuracy/ability to check your own work.· Experience with FAR, DFAR contract clauses preferred.· Strong contract tracking and analysis skills including spreadsheet modeling.· Ability to apply basic mathematic concepts in price analysis.· Strong analytical and problem solving skills in combination with the ability to multitask and perform duties under own initiative with minimal supervision.· Experience with MRP software preferred.· Experience in accounting, manufacturing, or construction estimating a plus.· Ability to work under pressure.· Good concentration and attention to detail.· Typing speed of 50 words per minute.· Skills in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat.· Proficiency in business English: spelling, composition, grammar, punctuation.· Team player, self-directed, interpersonal skills, multitasker.· U.S. citizenship/Green card is required.Education:College degree preferred.Physical requirements:Must be able to sit in sedentary position, walk upstairs and lift up to 25lbs.Job Type: Full-timePay: $24.76 - $30.00 per hourExpected hours: No more than 40 per weekBenefits:* 401(k)* 401(k) matching* Dental insurance* Employee assistance program* Employee discount* Health insurance* Life insurance* Paid time off* Parental leave* Vision insuranceAbility to Commute:* Ontario, CA 91761 (Required)Work Location: In person
