Doggie Daycare Attendant

```Duties```- Supervise and monitor the behavior and interactions of dogs in a daycare setting- Ensure the safety and well-being of all dogs in your care- Provide exercise and playtime for dogs, both indoors and outdoors- Clean and maintain the daycare facility, including dog kennels, play areas, and common areas- Perform walks with groups of up to 4 dogs- Feed and administer medications to dogs according to their specific needs- Assist with grooming tasks such as bathing, brushing, and nail trimming- Handle dogs of various sizes, breeds, and temperaments with care and confidence- Maintain accurate records of each dog's behavior, health, and daily activities```Experience```- Previous experience working with dogs in a professional setting (e.g., dog daycare, veterinary clinic, animal shelter)- Knowledge of dog behavior, body language, and basic training techniques- Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments safely and effectively- Familiarity with basic animal care practices, including feeding schedules, medication administration, and grooming procedures- Strong customer service skills to interact with dog owners and address any concerns or questions they may haveNote: While not required, having a background in animal care will benefit you greatly in this role.Note: Hours required are M-F 11am-7pmPlease note that this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
