Reporting to the Emergency Services Project Manager and the Director of Emergency Services, you will lead and coordinate jobs while providing skilled labor for mitigation and disaster response services. Your ability to make quick decisions and work with minimal supervision will be essential in delivering high-quality results for our clients.*Responsibilities:** Make decisions on the proper action to mitigate emergency situations* Using acquired knowledge, perform fire and water damage restoration* Prepare basic paperwork/data flow requirements for clients as detailed on checklists* Cleaning out damaged areas by removing debris and waste materials* Removing damaged drywall, carpeting, and other materials from affected areas* Performing clean-up work following a flood, fire, or other loss to remove mud, molds, and other contaminants from structures*Skills and Training:** Possess Water Restoration Technician (WRT) and Fire and Smoke Restoration Technician (FSRT) IICRC certifications* Hold an OSHA 10 Hour Safety Certification* Familiarity with DASH Documentation, including uploading photos, logging notes, and managing work orders* Competence in completing Fit Tests for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)* Strong written communication skills for effective interaction with adjusters, vendors, and customers*Essential Functions:*To succeed as a Mitigation Technician, you must demonstrate good judgment and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Our industry can have unpredictable workloads, so flexibility in working overtime is essential. Physical requirements include standing, walking, sitting, bending, stooping, twisting, and the ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 75 pounds). Additionally, you should have excellent vision capabilities, including close vision and color vision, with the ability to adjust focus.
