*About the Role*We are looking for experienced hosts and hostesses to join our FOH team for the long run at Malka WPB. While you must be comfortable working independently, you must also appreciate a strong team environment. We support a culture of promoting from within and are seeking the right candidate who also shares our values. This is a full-time or part-time, hourly position with an ASAP start date.*Responsibilities ** Clearly and politely communicate with guests* Manage our reservation system on Resy* Manage communication with guests regarding special requests, allergies, large parties, reservation changes, etc.* Seat guests efficiently to maximize covers, and work with floor team to ensure that tables turn on time* Inform the Maitre D' or Floor Manager of relevant guest information on a nightly basis* Communicate respectfully and clearly with service team and management* Engage management for any guest issue or complaint* Assist teammates to anticipate all other FOH needs* Adhere to all policies and procedures outlined in the company handbook*Skills & Requirements** Minimum 2 year of restaurant experience in a high volume, high end environment* Excellent communication and hospitality skills* Receptive to constructive criticism and performance feedback* Must be professional, enthusiastic, and excited about our food, our brand and our story* Knowledge of kosher rules preferred* Warm personality and a natural ability to interact with people and create an upbeat, fun atmosphere, which is crucial to the experience at Malka.*About Malka*Malka is a kosher restaurant that aims to redefine kosher dining through innovative and creative cuisine.
