Found in 1991, it has grown from a small operation to a multimillion-dollar manufacturer with state of the art facilities in Jackson and North Carolina. We emphasizes precision, teamwork, and rapid production. We’re seeking a full time Weekend Night Shift CNC Programmer/Machinist that will be responsible for *Friday-Sunday 5pm-5:30pm - $15.00 Shift Premium!*Produces machined parts by operating, setting up and programming HAAS CNC mills & lathes, to machine tools and parts for the prototype industry. Advancing through this position will require strong problem solving skills, analytical skills, technical expertise and computer skills. These positions require safe work practices that are clearly defined within company and department specific safety procedures.Working safely is an essential function of the position. Working overtime is an essential function of this position. Flexibility in work schedule is an essential function of this position. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.*CNC Programmer/Machinist--Proficient operating, setting up, running, and programming HAAS Mills & Lathes. Proficient programming 3D with Mastercam Mill. Experience machining complex form tooling for the prototype industry. Proficient programming Mastercam Lathe. Ability to design, setup, and machine fixtures for part machining. Good problem-solving and multi-tasking skills. Positive Attitude. *While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to manufacturing processes that include and are not limited to; fumes or airborne particles, hazardous chemicals, moving mechanical parts, industrial equipment and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.High school diploma or GED. Vocational training (STEM Program, Career Center or Technical Trades Training). Two or more years of related experience. HAAS CNC mill & lathe experience.
