Deli Crew Hot Foods MemberFull-Time or Part Position: Must be able to work evenings and weekends, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday position open. This position ranges from 10am-6pm, and 8am-4pm, 32-40 hours per weekExperience Required: 0-6 Months; some experience preferred.Reading & verbal communication skills required. No HS Diploma needed.Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift 50 lbs.Job Responsibilities:Provide excellent customer service in accordance with the Sprankle’s Neighborhood Markets standards of providing great customer shopping experiences.Ability to follow safety protocols to help ensure a safe work environment for themselves and other employees and customers.Operate a deep fryer, oven, meat/cheese slicer and stove cooktop.Preparing food items for cooking bulk amounts of hot and cold foods to serve in the deli hot and cold cases.Help to maintain a clean work area. This includes cleaning equipment, utensils, and work surfaces including the floor (to deter accidents) and sanitation requirements for food safety.Keep the hot and cold cases well stocked with food for great customer experience.Food safety measures such as checking expiration dates routinely and rotating products forward in the cases to follow deli food safety protocols. Must be willing to wear a hairnet/hat and gloves.Stock items by making sure that newly delivered products are placed in proper location inside cooler as soon as possible and bring out items to be prepared for the case as needed.Add items to list as needed for deli manager to easily order new products which help items from being out of stock.Ability to learn to use weight scales to label items for sale.Answer the phone as well as takes adequately detailed messages for orders for the deli staff.Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $12.00 - $14.50 per hourExpected hours: 32 – 40 per weekBenefits:* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Paid time off* Vision insuranceWork Location: In person
