Production Associate - 1st shift

*Job Description:*Responsible for completion of production duties to assemble cartridge and/or coil heaters. Operate production equipment to create items by approved work instructions and manufacturing processes successfully meeting department safety, production and quality goals.*Job Responsibilities:** Assemble and aid in the process of cartridge heaters by plasma welding, crimping, sleeving, stamping and soldering.* Responsible for reading Cad Drawings attached to work orders to complete the process.* Responsible for reading and understanding work orders and instructions.* Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists, gathering parts, subassemblies, tools and material.* Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.* Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies.* Verifies specifications by measuring complete component.* Responsible for being proficient in cartridge heater process, which includes tube cut, kitting, winding, assembly and sand fill.* Responsible for being proficient in cartridge end product process, which includes swaging, straightening, grinding, lathing and/or testing product.* Contribute to team effort by accomplishing other duties assigned and defined for work orders.* *Clean, air conditioned environment.*Job Type: Full-timePay: $14.50 - $15.00 per hourExpected hours: No more than 40 per weekBenefits:* 401(k)* 401(k) matching* Dental insurance* Flexible schedule* Health insurance* Life insurance* Paid time off* Referral program* Vision insuranceSchedule:* 8 hour shift* Day shift* Monday to Friday* OvertimeSupplemental Pay:* Bonus opportunitiesAbility to Commute:* Battle Creek, MI 49037 (Required)Ability to Relocate:* Battle Creek, MI 49037: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In person
