*Landscaping Crew Lead – Full-Time**Location:* Stoughton, WI*Company:* AMS Landscaping*Experience Required:* 3–5 Years (Minimum 1 Year in a Leadership Role Preferred)*Pay:* Competitive and based on experience. *Range: $30-$40 Per Hour*AMS Landscaping growing, and we’re looking for a *Landscaping Crew Lead* who can take charge of high-end residential and light commercial landscaping projects. We specialize in *custom hardscapes, outdoor kitchens, patios, retaining walls, fire features, garden beds, outdoor lighting, and more*—and we need a reliable leader who knows how to run a tight, efficient, and quality-focused crew.*Key Responsibilities:** *Lead a team of 2–4 crew members* on landscaping installations and renovation projects.* *Delegate tasks effectively* to ensure the crew is working productively and meeting quality standards.* *Report directly to the Project Manager* with daily updates on job progress, delays, crew performance, and material needs.* *Read and interpret landscape designs/blueprints* and ensure accurate execution in the field.* *Monitor job site workflow* to keep projects on schedule and within scope.* *Train and mentor crew members* on proper techniques for paver installation, grading, planting, and equipment operation.* *Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools and machinery*.* *Maintain a safe and clean job site*, enforcing safety standards at all times.* *Communicate with clients* when needed in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring their expectations are met or exceeded.*Qualifications:** 3–5 years of landscaping experience with strong hardscape and softscape knowledge* Proven experience leading a landscape crew* Ability to manage time, people, and materials efficiently* Familiarity with construction-grade tools and equipment* Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills on-site* Valid driver’s license with clean driving record* Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions*Why AMS Landscaping?*We’re a local company based in Stoughton, WI, known for quality craftsmanship, clear communication, and creating beautiful outdoor spaces that last.
