Machine Operator I

Summary:The Machine Operator plays a crucial role in the production process by operating and maintaining various machinery to ensure efficient and safe operations. Your primary responsibility will be to set up, adjust, and monitor machines to produce high-quality products that meet our specifications. You will also be responsible for conducting routine inspections and troubleshooting any issues that may arise during production. This position requires a keen attention to detail and a commitment to adhering to safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment. Ultimately, your contributions will directly impact our production efficiency and product quality, making you an integral part of our team.Supervisory Responsibilities: NoneDuties/Responsibilities:Efficiently operate assigned machinesTroubleshoot any production or machine down time issues as they arise and complete tracking formsRegularly clean and maintain production equipmentFill out all required paperwork during shift to include downtime sheets, maintenance shift reports, and cleaning check listsAbility to cross train and learn other pieces of equipmentTrain other employees on proper operation of machinesFollows all health and safety policies and procedures, wear proper PPE at all timesPerform other duties as assigned.Required Skills/AbilitiesAbility to adhere to IKI core valuesBasic math skillsCommunication skillsBasic computer skillsTroubleshooting and problem solvingMechanical aptitudeEducation and Experience:GED or equivalent requiredPrevious machine operator experience requiredPhysical Requirements:Walking on wet floorsBe able to lift 50 lbs.Climbing stairs, bending, standing for long periods of timeShift Schedules1st Shift: 6am-2pm2nd Shift: 2pm-10pm3rd Shift: 10pm-2amBenefits include:PTO and Holiday PayHealth, Dental, Vision, Short and Long Term disability, Accident, Critical Illness, Hospital Indemnity401(k) with matchingReferral BonusPay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hourWork Location: In person
