We are so excited to announce that we are hiring for an exciting BRAND NEW restaurant in Allentown, PA.Okatshe, a new Japanese izakaya restaurant & bar by Celebrity Chef Jose Garces.José Garces, James Beard Award-winner, Iron Chef, entrepreneur, food innovator, and restauranteur, will open his concept Okatshe in downtown Allentown this Fall. Okatshe will feature a dimly lit ornamental aesthetic with unique Japanese inspired cuisine, and an incredibly thoughtful cocktail list that focuses on Japanese whiskey. All in the heart of Allentown’s Downtown West neighborhood.We are looking for front of house staff members including bartenders and servers who are energetic, responsible and have a passion for the restaurant industry. The ideal candidate has prior experience preparing a variety of food items, is well-versed in customer service skills and is able to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced restaurant.The bar program will be made entirely in house with all fresh ingredients. The drinks will be progressive, but approachable.
