Duties:- Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with established recipes and standards.- Assist with meal preparation and presentation.- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean and safe working environment.- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen.- Maintain inventory of food supplies and notify management when supplies are running low.- Adhere to dietary restrictions and special requests for meals.- Assist in the setup, execution, and breakdown of catering events.Skills:- Culinary skills: Experience in a professional kitchen setting, including knowledge of various cooking techniques and knife skills.- Attention to detail: Ability to follow recipes accurately and ensure that meals are prepared to the highest standards.- Time management: Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.- Teamwork: Willingness to collaborate with other kitchen staff members to achieve common goals.- Adaptability: Ability to handle changing priorities and work well under pressure.Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hourExpected hours: 30 per weekBenefits:* Employee discount* Paid trainingShift:* Morning shift* Night shiftWork Location: In person
