*Overview*Minard's Spaghetti Inn, northern West Virginia's oldest Italian restaurant, is now hiring both full and part-time wait staff positions. We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Servers to join our team. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that guests receive prompt and friendly service while maintaining high standards of food safety and hospitality.We are committed to maintaining our tradition of providing guests with an old world Spaghetti House experience. If you have a passion for guest relations and thrive in a lively atmosphere, we would love to hear from you.*Responsibilities** Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly demeanor.* Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently* Provide recommendations on menu items and answer any questions guests may have.* Ensure timely delivery of orders to guests, maintaining attention to detail throughout the process.* Handle cash transactions responsibly, including processing payments through the cash register.* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables and service stations.* Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns promptly.* Adhere to food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure a safe dining environment.* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods.*Qualifications** Previous experience in guest services or hospitality is preferred but not required.* Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on guest relations.* Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.* Familiarity with food safety practices is a plus.* Experience using the Heartland POS or similar point-of-sale systems is desirable.* Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends* A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.Job Type: Part-timePay: $10.00 - $14.00 per hourExpected hours: 20 – 40 per weekBenefits:* Dental insurance* Employee discount* Flexible schedule* Vision insuranceShift:* 10 hour shift* 8 hour shift* Day shift* Evening shiftWork Location: In person
