Let's go Live! together at the Chase Center, Delaware's premier meeting, event, and social venue.The Banquet Server position is a *Part time / On-call role *which allows you the *flexibility to work around your schedule. *Some weeks our team works up to 40+ hours. Some weeks we have no shifts at all. A great fit for anyone looking to make a little extra money from time to time, while having fun (and working hard) in an exciting event center space. We have available shifts that include weekdays, weekends, nights, and days. Uniforms are provided and washed for you. Non-Slip work safe shoes are required.The wait staff position will actively participate in the serving of food and beverage while providing exceptional customer service to our guests. As well you will be required to maintain Sodexo Live!’s standards for safety, cleanliness, and sanitation.*Essential Responsibilities:*Contribute to the goal of 100% customer satisfaction through personal commitment to teamwork and service.Serves food to guests following Service StandardsSupport banquet operations by assisting in executing catered events and functions in accordance with Sodexo Live! standards, guest expectations and specifications.Completes required set up/preparation of function room prior to scheduled activity.Prepares coffee, iced/hot tea and other beverages as required.Monitors guests, anticipates needs responds to requests, ensures satisfaction.Clears tables and completes assigned end of shift duties.Other duties as assigned.*General** Is polite, friendly, and helpful to guests, management, and fellow employees.* Complies with required safety regulations and procedures.* Complies with uniform and grooming standards.* Be able to stand for extended periods of time.* Carry service trays.Job Types: Part-time, SeasonalPay: $17.50 per hourExpected hours: 4 – 40 per weekBenefits:* Flexible scheduleAbility to commute/relocate:* Wilmington, DE 19801: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Experience:* Waiter / Waiter / Banquet: 1 year (Required)Shift availability:* Day Shift (Preferred)* Night Shift (Preferred)Work Location: In person
