Millwork Door Assembler

*Job Summary*The Door Assembler is responsible for assembling pre-hung doors and installing casings to precise specifications. This includes measuring, cutting, and securing materials to build finished units ready for delivery or installation. The ideal candidate will have experience with woodworking tools, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a team environment.*Key Responsibilities*• Assemble pre-hung interior or exterior door units according to specifications and shop drawings.• Cut and install door casing/molding using miter saws and other woodworking tools.• Ensure correct alignment and spacing of doors, jambs, and casing for proper operation and appearance.• Attach hinges, strike plates, stops, and other hardware as specified.• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and production instructions.• Inspect completed assemblies for quality, accuracy, and finish.• Maintain a clean and organized work area.• Operate hand tools and power equipment safely and effectively.• Meet production quotas and deadlines without compromising quality.• Report damaged materials or faulty processes to supervisors.• Follow all company safety rules and use proper personal protective equipment (PPE).* *Qualifications** • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.• Prior experience in millwork, cabinet making, or door assembly strongly preferred.• Ability to read a tape measure accurately and perform basic math.• Familiarity with pneumatic tools, saws, and other carpentry equipment.• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.• Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive motions.• Dependable, team-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.*Work Environment:*• Indoor shop or warehouse setting with exposure to sawdust, machinery, and noise.• Requires physical labor including lifting, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.Job Type: Full-timePay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hourBenefits:* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Life insurance* Paid time off* Vision insuranceSchedule:* 8 hour shiftSupplemental Pay:* Overtime payWork Location: In person
