Daytime Lifeguard

*Full/Part Time Lifeguard Positions (Starting at $13/hr)**SUMMARY:*Lifeguards ensure the safety of members and guests at an aquatic facility by preventing and responding to emergencies. Additionally, lifeguards will perform other duties as directed to maintain a clean and safe facility.*DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:** Maintains constant surveillance of members and guests in the facility; acts immediately and appropriately to secure the safety of members and guests in the event of an emergency.* Provides emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services.* Administer first aid care promptly and effectively to members and guests as needed.* Presents professional appearance and attitude at all times and maintains a high standard of customer service.* Performs various maintenance duties as directed to maintain a clean and safe facility.* Prepares and maintains appropriate daily reports.* Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.*MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:*Applicants must be at least 15 years old and possess a current, nationally recognized certification in lifeguarding and CPR. While previous experience is preferred, it is not required. Lifeguards must be able to work scheduled shifts as assigned, which may include days, evenings, and weekends.*KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:** Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.* Skill in the application of lifeguarding surveillance and rescue techniques.* Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and lifeguarding skills evaluation.* Ability to prepare routine reports and administrative paperwork.* Knowledge emergency response procedures.* Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.* Knowledge of customer service standards and proceduresWork Remotely* NoAccess to public transportation* NoJob Types: Seasonal, Part-timePay: From $13.00 per hourExpected hours: 20 – 40 per weekBenefits:* Employee discount* Flexible scheduleWork Location: In person
