The Restaurant Manager should be able to operate the Front of House areas of the restaurant in the absence of the Owner. These areas of responsibility include:· In general, being responsible for the smooth functioning of operations in the absence of the Owner/General Manager;· Overseeing the work of the other employees;· Filling the position of the Front of House Expo and Front of House Manager;· Able to sign checks in absence of General Manager;· Able to run the restaurant for the entire shift;· As Front of House Manager, visually checking all orders before they are given to the customer;· Working cooperatively with other personnel to enhance operations;· Moving with a sense of urgency when busy;· Performing opening and closing duties;· Resolving customer service issues;· Helping out in whatever area needed;· Filling in for other employees while they are on breaks;· Going on shopping runs;· Conducting bank deposits and picking up change;· Assigning server stations and duties as needed throughout the shift;· Answering the telephone as needed;· Leaving the facility only if another Manager is present;· Participating in and supervising cleaning the entire location;· Making sure that all opening and closing tasks are properly performed;· Closing out the POS system and performing end of shift paperwork;· Securing the location overnight;· Helping put together and receive orders for Front of House inventory and supplies;· Helping to train other staff people;· Performing equipment maintenance at regular intervals;· Ensuring that all employees adhere to company dress, grooming and conduct code at all times while on the job;· Confirming that all employees perform their jobs satisfactorily;· Ensuring that all employees meet Vietvana’s standards for food preparation and customer service at all times;· Making sure that all delegated tasks are properly performed;· Enforcing the restaurant’s policies and procedures;· Promoting teamwork among all employees;· Resolving employee conflicts;· Solving, rather than escalating, customer service issues;· Helping to build relationships with customers; and· Performing other duties as assigned.Job Type: Full-timePay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per yearBenefits:* Employee discount* Flexible scheduleShift:* 10 hour shift* 12 hour shift* 8 hour shift* Day shift* Evening shift* Night shiftExperience:* Asian cuisine: 2 years (Required)Work Location: In person
