Environmental Compliance Specialist - Fuel Stations

If you're ready to help shape and support responsible business practices across a multi-state retail network, we want to hear from you!*Why Join Rebel?** *Be a Change Maker* — Play a critical role in environmental responsibility across our Midwest and Atlantic operations.* *Lead with Purpose* — Guide the organization through complex regulatory landscapes.* *Collaborative Culture* — Partner with cross-functional teams and external vendors.* *Great Pay & Benefits* — Your expertise deserves to be rewarded.*Your Key Responsibilities:** Manage environmental compliance for Underground Storage Tank (UST) systems across multiple states.* Coordinate leak detection, inspections, compliance testing, and system maintenance.* Review and verify service provider documentation for completeness and regulatory accuracy.* Maintain centralized records for all UST activities and support on-site regulatory inspections.* Track permits, training certifications, and inspection reports using compliance management tools.* Provide regulatory guidance and support to internal teams and site personnel.* Monitor regulatory changes and update internal processes as needed.* Create and manage corrective action work orders and support audits.* Collaborate on training programs and process improvements.*Your Qualifications:** Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred (experience may be considered in lieu of a degree).* Minimum 3 years of experience in environmental compliance; UST systems knowledge strongly preferred.* Deep understanding of federal and state regulations (e.g., 40 CFR 280, DEQ, air permitting).* Ability to interpret complex regulatory information and apply it in the field.* Strong organizational, analytical, and multitasking skills.* Excellent communication skills for interacting with vendors, regulators, and internal stakeholders.* Proficiency in Microsoft Office; compliance software experience is a plus.*Ready to Make an Impact?*Join Rebel Convenience Stores and become part of a mission-driven team that values safety, sustainability, and compliance.
