Join our fun and exciting team at the Hampton Inn by Hilton Spokane Airport! We are seeking an Assistant General Manager who possesses excellent communication and leadership skills at our award-winning hotel. The AGM position assists in the overall success of the hotel and manages all areas in accordance with company standards.*Responsibilities:** Assists the General Manager in day-to-day operations, fulfills the role of Manager on Duty, and fills in for GM when necessary.* Directly oversees the Front Desk Operations, including hiring, training, coaching/disciplinary actions, incentivizing, building employee morale, etc. Oversees and assists other department operations throughout the hotel.* Ensure guest satisfaction by maintaining high standards of service and quality.* Ensure compliance with all legal, safety, and regulatory requirements.* Managing shift schedules, providing hands-on assistance and shift coverage when needed.* Ensuring proper handling of any guest questions, reviews and comments by providing exceptional customer service while upholding company policies.* Ensuring guest and team member satisfaction. Helps build employee morale throughout the entire team.* Effectively multi-task and address continuous requests in a fast-paced environment by coordinating with other departments to ensure all guest requests are met and work duties are completed.* Manage effective inventory and ordering responsibilities for the front desk, office supplies, uniforms, gift shop items, etc.* Managing invoices by coding, handling accounts receivable, resolving charge disputes, overseeing audit and daily report accuracy, etc.* Identifying operational performance, productivity, and efficiency gaps and implementing measures to correct those deficiencies.* Generating reports and feedback to the General Manager.* Following budget and labor goals to ensure efficiency.* Performing administrative duties such as filing and updating records, among others, as needed.* All other duties as assigned by management.*Skills & Qualifications** A minimum of 2 years of experience as an AGM, Front Desk Manager or similar.* Good understanding of procedures and practices in the hospitality industry.* Hands-on approach and willingness to lead by example.* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.* Strong organizational and time management skills.* The ability to provide exceptional customer service.* Good leadership and training abilities.*Benefits** Medical, dental, and vision insurance* 401K plan with match when vested* Holidays and paid time off* Amazing travel benefits with employee rates as low as $40/night throughout Hilton brand properties around the world.* Earn a complimentary suite stay at any of our franchised properties annually.* Misc. benefits including Length of Service Bonuses, and misc. incentives.We have local owners who care about the employees.
