Galvanizing Machine Operator

Bekaert has immediate opportunities for a Machine Operator and a Machine Assistant. This job does provide the opportunity to grow.*Working Hours:* Varied Shifts Schedules available:2nd Shift (Monday-Friday, 4pm-12am) ($0.20 Shift Differential)*Essential Duties & Responsibilities** Set-up and operate wire machine with minimum supervision.* Position and secure stock coil on pay off and adjust pay off* Change out tooling for wire drawing process when applicable* Band steel coils* Butt weld ends of coils together to form continuous feed* Make changes in prescribed operating conditions as necessary to produce quality products.* Perform necessary test and measurements to assure product meets required specifications.* Keep accurate products data and records as required.* Correct or adjust any machine malfunction immediately to ensure continuity of production and quality of next process.* Report any major machine malfunction immediately to Supervisor.* Continually inspect products while performing other duties.* Maintain a clean and safe work area.* Assist in other duties as directed by your Supervisor*Minimum Requirements** Machine Operating Experience Strongly Preferred* High School diploma or general education degree (GED)* Manufacturing experience a plus* Strong focus on working safe* Above average math skillsJob Type: Full-timePay: $22.77 - $30.00 per hourExpected hours: No less than 40 per weekBenefits:* 401(k)* 401(k) matching* Dental insurance* Employee assistance program* Employee discount* Flexible schedule* Flexible spending account* Health insurance* Health savings account* Life insurance* On-the-job training* Paid time off* Parental leave* Prescription drug insurance* Professional development assistance* Referral program* Retirement plan* Tuition reimbursement* Vision insuranceSchedule:* 8 hour shift* Evening shift* Monday to Friday* OvertimeAbility to Commute:* Orrville, OH 44667 (Required)Work Location: In person
