*Position Summary:**The Garment Conveyor Supervisor oversees daily operations of the Metalprogetti automated garment handling system, ensuring efficient and accurate movement, sorting, and tracking of garments. This role is responsible for supervising conveyor operators, coordinating workflow, troubleshooting technical issues, and maintaining high productivity and quality standards. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, technical aptitude, and previous experience with automated systems.**This position is Monday through Friday (2/3pm - 10/11pm) with weekends off.**Key Responsibilities:** Supervise a team of garment conveyor operators, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time.* Oversee operation of the Metalprogetti garment conveyor system, including startup, shutdown, and monitoring throughout the shift.* Coordinate daily workflow, manage assignments, and prioritize work orders for optimal efficiency.* Train new and existing staff on system operation, safety protocols, and garment handling procedures.* Troubleshoot and resolve issues with the conveyor system, scanners, and related software.* Collaborate with maintenance and IT teams for system updates, repairs, or performance improvements.* Conduct quality checks to ensure proper sorting, tracking, and storage of garments.* Maintain inventory integrity by verifying garment counts, tags, and routing accuracy.* Enforce compliance with safety, hygiene, and operational standards.* Prepare daily reports on system performance, garment throughput, and team productivity.* Act as liaison between floor staff and upper management to communicate challenges, updates, or improvements.*Qualifications:** High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or technical certification preferred.* 2+ years of supervisory or team lead experience in a warehouse, production, or garment-related operation.* Familiarity with Metalprogetti or similar automated conveyor systems highly preferred.* Strong leadership and interpersonal skills; ability to lead and motivate a team.* Basic understanding of mechanical systems and software troubleshooting.* Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable working with digital tracking systems.* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.* Ability to work flexible hours or shifts, including weekends if required.*Work Environment:** Industrial or warehouse setting with moderate noise and activity levels.* Requires frequent standing, walking, and occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.* May involve extended periods of working near conveyor belts or machinery.*Preferred Skills:** Experience with RFID/barcode scanning systems.* Familiarity with lean operations or continuous improvement practices.Job Type: Full-timePay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per yearBenefits:* 401(k)* Dental insurance* Employee assistance program* Employee discount* Health insurance* Health savings account* On-the-job training* Paid time off* Vision insuranceSchedule:* 8 hour shift* Evening shift* Monday to Friday* No weekendsShift availability:* Night Shift (Preferred)Ability to Commute:* Manchester, NH 03103 (Required)Ability to Relocate:* Manchester, NH 03103: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In person
