Room Inspector/Housekeeper

*Housekeeping Inspector & Team Member needed!*We're looking for a full-time dedicated *Housekeeping Inspector & Team Member* to join *Spark Team Cleaning *at the *Hilton Garden Inn *in *Gettysburg, PA* . In this vital role, you'll ensure every guest room meets our high standards for cleanliness, maintenance, and comfort, reflecting our commitment to excellence and our brand's promise. You'll spend part of your time meticulously *inspecting rooms*, making sure all supplies and amenities are perfectly stocked and every detail is guest-ready. The other part of your day will involve actively contributing as a *housekeeper*, helping to prepare our spaces. Your efforts will directly contribute to a consistently high level of guest satisfaction, ensuring our accommodations are not just clean, but truly welcoming and up to standard every single day.*Housekeeping Inspector/Housekeeper Essential Tasks: ** Greet guests upon interaction with a warm and friendly greeting.* Inspect work performed to ensure that it meets specifications and established standards.* Clean guest rooms according to standards within the allotted time frame by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.* Inventory stock to ensure adequate supplies.* Issue supplies and equipment to associates.* Change bed linens and replace towels and other amenities.* Clean and polish furniture and fixtures; dust furniture, walls or equipment.* Notify managers concerning the need for repairs in guest rooms.* Process guest items left in rooms according to lost and found policy.* Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment and follow MSDS and OSHA standards.* Perform house person and lobby attendant duties when short staffed or during peak periods.* Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction.* Ensure overall guest satisfaction.* Communicates effectively with staff and guests.* Complete and follow through with all practices provided by training, including refreshes.* Perform other duties as requested by management.*Your Background and Skills** High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.* Previous housekeeping experience or equivalent preferred.* Collaborative Problem Solver* Self Motivated* Positive Disposition* Solution Orientated*Work Environment and Context** Work schedule could vary and may include working all shifts, holidays and weekends.* Requires standing for extended periods of time, the ability to lift up to 25 pounds, bending, reaching, stooping, manual dexterity, kneeling or crouching.* To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily.
