The *HOST (full and part time positions available) *will be responsible for but not limited to:* Greet all guests professionally and friendly upon arrival.* Complete understanding of menu and its ingredients* Communication and good teamwork with fellow FOH members as well as the BOH* Ability to meet guests needs and address complaints or issues promptly* Ensuring the dining room is set up and maintained during service* Ensures a clean and safe environment for guests and employees* Leaving the restaurant in a clean and organized manner at the end of your shift* Available to work nights, weekends, and holidaysThe ideal candidate must be able to:* Understand and embrace our brand image and environment = Great “first” impression every day in appearance, speech, and personality* Read and interpret menus* Articulate clear greetings and farewells to guests, as well as being able to understand requests for assistance* Clearly communicate guests’ needs to Servers, Bartenders, Runners, Managers, etc.* Hear well in a loud environment to answer telephone and respond to guest requests* Walk and stand during the entire shift* Understand and deliver requests for assistance* Bi-Lingual a plus* *Must be 16 years old*Benefits:* You create your own SALARY with the service you provide and Mac's offers a living wage of $12/hour inclusive of tips* 50% discount on food and clothing apparel* Participation in Health Insurance Programs if employed 1 continuous year and average 25 Hours or more each week.* Participation in PTO (Paid Time Off) Policy if employed 1 continuous year and average 30 hours or more each week.If this sounds like you - then we want your application!
