*Job Summary*Central Coated/Sun America is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resources Generalist to join our team. The Human Resources Generalist serves as a trusted partner to associates and leaders across Central Coated/Sun America, providing hands-on, onsite support in all functional areas of Human Resources. This role is integral to fostering a positive and compliant workplace culture through effective employee relations, conflict resolution, benefit and leave administration, and HR process support.Working closely with the Director of HR, the HR Generalist supports day-to-day HR operations including policy compliance, performance management, recruitment, onboarding, and associate engagement. The successful candidate will interact frequently with leaders and employees in both office and manufacturing environments, requiring professionalism, sound judgment, and strong communication skills.*Key Responsibilities**Employee Relations & Leadership Support*● Serves as a point of contact for employees and leaders on HR policies, conflict resolution, and workplace matters.● Supports performance management processes, including coaching, documentation, and progressive discipline.● Participates in investigations, disciplinary actions, and terminations, ensuring consistency, and compliance.● Assists with employee engagement initiatives and help foster a positive work environment.*Compliance & Leave Administration*● Administers employee leaves (FMLA, ADA, short- and long-term disability), ensuring timely documentation and compliance.● Maintains HR records, documentation, and personnel files in accordance with legal and policy requirements.● Assists with internal audits and ensure adherence to federal and state labor laws.*Talent Support & Recruitment*● Supports recruiting activities including posting jobs, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and participating in candidate selection.● Participate in onboarding and orientation processes to ensure smooth integration of new hires.● Maintain up-to-date job descriptions and organizational charts in collaboration with leadership.*General HR Operations*● Collaborates with HR Director on strategic initiatives and process improvements.Provide data and reports on HR metrics as needed.● Maintains confidentiality and handle sensitive matters with professionalism and discretion.● Participates in company events and activities to promote associate engagement.*Requirements*● Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.● 3 or more years of generalist-level HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.● Strong knowledge of employment laws (FMLA, ADA, EEOC, etc.) and HR best practices.● Experience with HRIS systems and basic payroll processes a plus.● Established user of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Office).*Key Competencies*● Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.● High emotional intelligence and the ability to build trust and influence at all levels.● Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.● Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.● Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.Join our team and contribute to creating a positive work environment that fosters growth, collaboration, and success.Job Type: Full-timePay: $65,000.00 per yearBenefits:* 401(k)* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Paid time off* Vision insuranceWork Location: In person
