Aircraft Lavatory/Water Service Tech

Job Description:Aircraft interior cleaning.Duties:* • Basic servicing of aircraft lavatories to include the removal (dumping) of lavatory contents, flushing of the lavatory system and refilling the lavatory fluid to established levels• Basic servicing of aircraft portable water tanks to include filling the tank to the established levels• Logs and tracks lavatory paperwork• Safely operate the lavatory and/or water servicing vehicles and the proper servicing/upkeep of such vehicles before, during and after use during the shift• Conducts quality control checks on lavatory and portable water service equipment and maintains required records• Responsible for complying with the FAA, OSHA and airline regulations• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by a supervisorSkills/Qualifications:* Arrives to work on time to ensure prompt servicing of the aircraft and on time departures* Must be able to walk and stand for prolonged periods of time; carry objects, sit, run, bend, stoop, reach, grasp, kneel and climb steps* Drive vehicles in areas congested with aircraft, moving and stationary vehicles and equipment* Ability to work well independently and as part of a team* Flexibility to adapt quickly to changing priorities/fast-paced environments* Flexible to work all shifts including days, evening, nights, weekends and holidays* Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written and oral instructions* Ability to work without direct supervision* Cleaning/maintenance of the facilities and vehicles owned by the companyRequirements:* High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)* Must be at least 18 years of age* Ability to proficiently speak, read, and write in English* Adheres to all safety and company regulations and policies* Basic computer knowledge and customer service skills required* Ability to safely lift 50 pounds* Strong communication skills both verbal and written* Must be detailed oriented* Must possess a valid state Driver’s License* Able to work comfortably in close quarters* Must be able to work in various weather conditions such as rain, snow, sleet and hot/cold temperatures* Pass FAA Drug and Alcohol testing, background checks and submit to random testing when required* Reliable method of transportation to arrive at work on time* Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide* Must be able to obtain and maintain all required Airport and Custom badge/sealBenefits* Part or full-time hours available* Competitive hourly wages* Affordably priced medical, vision and dental coverage (available after 90 days)Experience* Aviation experience a plus, but not necessaryLocation* Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport, 236 Wendell H Ford Blvd, Erlanger, KY 41018Work Remotely* NoJob Types: Temporary, Part-time, Full-timePay: $17.50 - $20.00 per hourBenefits:* Dental insurance* Flexible schedule* Health insurance* Paid time off* Vision insuranceSchedule:* 10 hour shift* 8 hour shift* Holidays* Overtime* Weekends as neededLicense/Certification:* Driver's License (Required)Work Location: In person
