Wine Tasting Room Manager

*Tasting Room Manager – Stottle Winery*Stottle Winery, an ultra-premium winery in Lacey, WA (I-5 corridor just north of Olympia), is seeking a *full-time Tasting Room Manager* for our Lacey location. This position offers hourly pay plus tips and wine club sign-up commissions.We are looking for a *self-motivated, hardworking, and customer-focused professional with positive energy* who is passionate about wine and hospitality. The *primary skill for this role is the ability to confidently and consistently sell wine club memberships*. We are seeking someone *ambitious who can grow with the company and take on expanded responsibilities in the future*. The Tasting Room Manager will *lead part-time tasting room staff while also performing all day-to-day tasting room operations*.*Schedule & Requirements** 5 days/week (Wed–Sun), 1:00pm – 7:00pm* Additional hours as needed for special/private events* High school diploma or GED required* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail* Solid basic math skills* Proficient in MS Word and Excel* Familiarity with Facebook & Instagram* Based primarily in Lacey, with rare shifts in our Hoodsport and Covington tasting rooms* Must be able to lift 40 lbs and stand for 6–8 hours daily* Must have or obtain a MAST permit within 60 days* Must be 21+ years old*Key Responsibilities** Drive wine club membership sales as the top priority* Welcome guests and create a memorable, high-quality tasting experience* Deliver exceptional customer service to encourage loyalty and repeat visits* Promote and sell wines* Open and close the tasting room* Operate the POS system and maintain CRM customer records* Restock wines and maintain a clean, organized tasting room* Plan, organize, and promote special events* Manage private event sales and rentals* Oversee inventory and wine club order processing* Lead, mentor, and guide tasting room associates while setting schedules and expectations* Support team development through training and performance feedback* Post and engage on Facebook and Instagram to promote the brand* Maintain professional appearance and hygiene* Perform other duties as assigned*Preferred Qualifications** Experience in a tasting room, wine bar, winery, or upscale restaurant* Hospitality experience* Proven sales skills, particularly in membership or subscription sales* Management and staff development experience*Compensation & Benefits** Pay DOE; average earnings with tips and commissions were *$35/hr* over the past year* Two weeks paid time off* 30% employee discount on wineJob Type: Full-timePay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hourExpected hours: 30 – 40 per weekBenefits:* Employee discount* Mileage reimbursement* Paid time off* Paid trainingAbility to Commute:* Lacey, WA 98516 (Required)Work Location: In person
