Overview:We are looking for a dedicated Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our team in the culinary department. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking and food preparation, with experience in the restaurant or food industry. As a Line Cook/Prep Cook, you will play a crucial role in meal preparation, menu planning, and ensuring high-quality dishes are served to our customers.Duties:- Assist in meal preparation by following recipes and guidelines for various dishes- Execute food handling procedures to ensure safety and sanitation standards are met- Collaborate with the culinary team to coordinate cooking times for efficient service- Help with menu planning and contribute creative ideas for new dishes- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including sanitizing surfaces and equipment- Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying when supplies are low- Assist in basic kitchen tasks such as chopping, slicing, and preparing ingredientsExperience:- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred- Knowledge of culinary techniques and familiarity with kitchen equipment- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in food preparation- Understanding of dietary requirements and restrictions is beneficial- Willingness to learn new cooking methods and adapt to changing menus- Availability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidaysJoin our team as a Line Cook/Prep Cook and showcase your culinary skills while contributing to our dynamic kitchen environment.
