Serving the Richmond area, Hampton Roads, and Northern Virginia, our mission is to exceed client expectations with responsive service, cutting-edge technology, and innovative solutions.*The Opportunity*Hylton & Company is seeking a skilled and motivated Property Manager to oversee daily operations for a mixed portfolio of residential and commercial properties. This role includes supervising the leasing department, maintaining strong relationships with residents and property owners, coordinating maintenance, and assisting with basic accounting and reporting. The ideal candidate will be organized, responsive, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.*Key Responsibilities** Manage leasing activities, including marketing, applications, and renewals* Maintain high occupancy across residential and commercial properties* Serve as main contact for residents and owners, ensuring timely communication* Oversee inspections, move-ins, move-outs, and lease compliance* Collect rent, address tenant concerns, and enforce lease terms* Assist with financial reporting and tracking income/expenses* Maintain records of leases, contracts, and maintenance requests* Coordinate with maintenance teams for timely repairs* Monitor market trends and recommend rent adjustments* Support budgeting and capital improvement planning*Desired Qualifications** 5+ years of property or facilities management experience* Knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.)* Skilled communicator* Valid driver’s license and daily reliable transportation*Compensation & Benefits** Competitive base salary + commission opportunities* Paid time off + Paid holidays* Continuing education opportunities* Membership in trade organizationsJob Type: Full-timePay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:* Paid time offSchedule:* Monday to FridayApplication Question(s):* Briefly describe your previous property management experience.
