Mechanical Assembly Technician

*Overview*We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our dynamic team. Responsible for the mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly of industrial machines and equipment according to technical drawings, internal procedures, and work instructions, ensuring the quality and proper functioning of the assembled systems.*Responsibilities** Assemble subcomponents and complete machines based on engineering drawings and technical specifications;* Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and parts lists;* Use hand tools, pneumatic, and power tools safely and effectively;* Check alignment, fit, and tolerances of assembled components;* Perform functional tests and assist with final machine adjustments;* Collaborate with engineering and quality departments to resolve any nonconformities;* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment;* Complete production and quality control reports as required.*Qualifications** High school diploma (Technical training in Mechanics, Electro mechanics, or related fields is a plus);* Previous experience in assembling industrial machines or equipment;* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings;* Basic knowledge of metrology (calipers, measuring tapes, etc.);* Understanding of workplace safety and good manufacturing practices.*Desired Skills:** Attention to detail;* Proactive and a team player;* Ability to follow technical procedures accurately;* Good communication skills.Join us in delivering top-notch mechanical assemblies that meet our customers' expectations!Job Type: Full-timePay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hourExpected hours: No more than 40 per weekBenefits:* 401(k) 2% match* 401(k) matching* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Health savings account* Life insurance* Paid time off* Tuition reimbursement* Vision insuranceAbility to Commute:* Sanford, FL 32771 (Required)Ability to Relocate:* Sanford, FL 32771: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In person
