*Job Summary*Currently we are hiring for shift leads, Assistant and Crew member positions depending on which location you apply for. Charleys Cheesesteaks is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Food Service Team Members to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while preparing and serving food in a fast-paced environment. Your primary focus will be working efficiently in the kitchen line, maintaining food safety standards, and contributing to the overall efficiency of our kitchen operations.*Duties** Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and food safety guidelines.* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas.* Assist in inventory management, including receiving and storing food supplies.* Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and addressing customer concerns.* Upsell menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales.* Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to health regulations.* Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours.* Perform basic math calculations for order processing and cash handling.*Experience** Previous experience in a kitchen or quick-service fast food restaurant is preferred but not required.* Familiarity with food safety practices is a plus.* Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.* Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.* A passion for food preparation and a desire to learn about café operations are highly valued.Join us in creating memorable experiences for our customers while working in a supportive team environment!
