Mitigation Technician

*Job Overview*We are seeking an experienced Mitigation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various restoration services, including water damage restoration, fire restoration, and mold remediation.*Duties** Conduct assessments of damaged properties to determine the extent of restoration required.* Execute water damage restoration processes, including extraction, drying, and dehumidification.* Carry out fire restoration tasks, including smoke damage cleanup and odor removal.* Execute mold remediation procedures.* Utilize hand tools effectively for various restoration tasks.* Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout all job sites.* Communicate clearly with clients and management regarding the scope of work and progress updates.* Ability to be on-call (after-hours) 1 week per month.*Skills** Team player with a good attitude.* Ability to operate hand tools for demolition.* Ability to set, monitor and remove drying equipment, containments, etc...* Knowledge of water damage restoration best practices.* Familiarity with fire restoration techniques and equipment.* Expertise in mold remediation processes and safety measures.* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in all tasks performed.Job Type: Full-timePay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hourBenefits:* Health insurance* On-the-job training* Paid time offSchedule:* 8 hour shiftApplication Question(s):* Are you willing to be on-call for after hours assignments for 1 week a month?Experience:* Restoration: 3 years (Required)Language:* English (Required)License/Certification:* Driver's License (Required)Ability to Commute:* San Diego, CA 92126 (Required)Work Location: In person
