Production Oversight:o Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products.o Optimize resource utilization, including workforce, materials, and equipment.o Collaborate with maintenance teams to minimize downtime and address equipment issues promptly.2. Team Leadership:o Lead, coach, and mentor production team members to achieve performance targets.o Build a culture of accountability, teamwork, and respect.o Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and updates.3. Quality Assurance:o Ensure all products meet Bootz Industries’ high-quality standards and specifications.o Work closely with quality control teams to address defects, customer feedback, or process inconsistencies.o Drive continuous improvements in quality through innovative solutions and team training.4. Safety and Compliance:o Uphold a safe working environment by enforcing safety procedures and conducting regular audits.o Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.o Promote and lead safety initiatives to foster a zero-incident culture.5. Continuous Improvement:o Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.o Leverage Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other methodologies to drive efficiency.o Partner with cross-functional teams to align production goals with overall company objectives.6. Performance Monitoring:o Analyze production metrics, prepare reports, and recommend strategies for improvement.o Address performance gaps and celebrate team successes.o Participate in annual and quarterly planning to align departmental goals with company strategies.---Qualifications:· Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, engineering, or a related field is preferred.· Experience:o Minimum of 3–5 years in a manufacturing supervisory role, preferably in the bathware or similar industry.o Experience with porcelain-on-steel products or other durable goods is a plus.· Skills:o Strong leadership, organizational, and communication abilities.o In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, safety standards, and quality systems.o Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP systems is advantageous.· Certifications: Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification is a plus.---Work Environment:· This role is performed in a manufacturing setting that may involve exposure to noise, heat, and industrial equipment.· Requires physical activity such as walking, standing, bending, and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.---About American Bath Group (ABG): American Bath Group is a premier provider of bathware products in North America, with an extensive portfolio of trusted brands, including Bootz Industries.
