*Job description: Pad Print/Engraving Technician**Company / Location:* Hankscraft AJS, Random Lake, WI*Department:* Assembly*Reports To:* Assembly Supervisor*Company Description:*Hankscraft AJS has been in business for over 30 years creating dynamic displays and POP (Point of Purchase) products for businesses, including tap handles and other promotional products for the brewing industry, and supplies components to the display industry. We design, manufacture, and take great pride in the quality of our products and the level of service we provide to our customers.*Overview:*This person will be responsible for pad printing of tap handles and other related promotional products as well as filling in for other production departments as demand requires. A keen eye for detail and color is necessary and a willingness to jump in wherever needed to deliver quality products on time to our customers.*Responsibilities:** Operate pad print equipment.* Prepare ink, burn plates and setup equipment.* PMS color matching* Ability to read and understand provided information from job ticket, drawings, work instructions and notes. Communicate questions regarding completeness, accuracy, and consistency.* Understand standard units of measure and set up and interpret results of various measuring devices.* Able to spot imperfections/banding/color variations and perform necessary printer maintenance to rectify.* Track inventory of printing supplies.
