*POSITION OVERVIEW: *The Human Resources Assistant at RSVC Company Supports the Human Resources Generalist with various administrative tasks. They are responsible for maintaining all employee records and keeping up with the departments organization to ensure compliance with California standard. In this role the HR Assistant handles sensitive information with discretion. The HR Assistant will also communicate effectively and support the HR Generalist in processing of job post, recruiting and new hire orientation.*ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES*· Maintain employee records and files, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies· Keep all files organized and in compliance with California standards· Collect and maintain employee files such as applications, resumes and other documents· Assist with scheduling and coordinating events· Provide administrative support in recruiting efforts, applications, scheduling interviews and verifying references· Respond to employees by being a point of contact for employee questions· Assist in preparation for New Hire Orientation· Maintain confidentiality of employee information and HR- related documentation· Prepare HR related reports as needed· Assist in organizing and coordinating HR related events and programs· Performs Administrative Duties as assigned by the HR Generalist*EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:*· High School Diploma or equivalent· Student seeking a career in the related field· 1-2 years of experience in a similar HR related role· 5 years of experience in administration*KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:*· Strong Communication Skills· Organizational Skills· Attention to detail and accuracy when handling data entry and record-keeping· Knowledgeable in HR practices· Ability to maintain confidential information and handle sensitive employee information· Competence in using HR technology and software to streamline HR processes· Ability to collaborate with different departments and teams· Adapt to changing circumstances and priorities in a dynamic construction environment· Effective time management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently*PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:*· Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds occasionally· Frequent bending, stooping, and reaching to access documents and other office items· Occasional pushing and pulling of general office items· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer· Regular use of hands and fingers for typing and handling documents· Ability to stand and walk for short periods of time during meetings and site visits· Frequent reading of documents and computer screens, requiring good vision· Extended screen time, necessitating regular breaks to prevent eye strain· Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing· Occasional travel to project sites, requiring ability to drive*IT REQUIREMENTS:*· General knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office Technology· Teams/SharePoint/Outlook for Email/Word/Excel/PowerPoint· Paychex Flex HRIS systems· Indeed, LinkedIn, and other HRIS related systems· Ability to utilize external websites and applications for; background checks, government reporting, vendor requirements, and others not listed· Cloud based ERP systems with comprehensive accounting tools· General ability to utilize cellular phone/iPad or Tablet/Laptop for Work PurposesJob Type: Full-timePay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hourBenefits:* 401(k)* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Life insurance* Paid time off* Vision insuranceExperience:* Human resources: 3 years (Required)* Paychex Flex (HRIS) : 2 years (Preferred)Ability to Commute:* Riverside, CA 92507 (Required)Work Location: In person
