*American Excelsior Company is actively seeking a Packager to join our 2nd Shift Erosion Control Division (ESD) team. These positions are entry level with many opportunities for growth and development. Come be a part of a stable, established, and growing company!**Hours:** *2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday 4:30pm-3:00am**Compensation/Benefits:** Starting wage is $19.95 per hour ($18.45 + $1.50 2nd shift premium)* 401(k) with Company Match* Access to Medical/Dental/Vision Plans coverage* Flexible Spending Accounts* Basic Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D)* Mandatory OT potential during busy season, OT Opportunities outside of busy season* Paid Vacation, Holidays, and more!*ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** Assists in packaging of blanket roll bundles according to work orders* Assists machine operator to package and palletize blanket roll bundles of different sizes* Labels blanket roll bundles with tags* Bands bundles using the air banding gun* Clean, sweeps and organizes work area using the broom*MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION** A minimum of a High School degree with a preference for 1+ years manufacturing experience operating basic hand tools and equipment preferred* Ability to stand and walk on concrete floors for up to 10+ hour shift*WORK ENVIRONMENT: *Dusty and moderately noisy; regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.Newly hired individuals must have a Pre-Employment Physical, Drug & Alcohol Test, and Audiogram.American Excelsior is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
