Experienced Server and Barista

*Job Overview*We are looking for somebody passionate about coffee; professional in the hospitality field! As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing and serving high-quality coffee and beverages and food. Your expertise in coffee preparation and customer service will contribute to an exceptional experience for our patrons.*Responsibilities** Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks according to standard recipes.* Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other equipment with precision and care.* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.* Assist customers with menu selections, providing recommendations based on their preferences.* Handle cash transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system.* Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies; assist in ordering as needed.* Engage with customers to create a friendly environment while promoting loyalty and repeat business.* Follow all food handling guidelines to ensure the safety and quality of products served.*Skills** Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and equipment operation is preferred.* Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and understanding retail math concepts.* Experience in the food industry or food service is advantageous.* Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.* Excellent customer service skills with the ability to help customers feel welcome and valued.* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.* Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers alike.Join us as we strive to provide an outstanding coffee experience!Job Type: Full-timePay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hourExpected hours: 30 per weekBenefits:* Employee discount* Paid trainingWork Location: In person
