Everything started in 1932, and by sharing what we do best with as many people as we can, we know there is just a little more joy in the world because of our barbecue._*Why should you apply?*_* Join a fun, growing company with a rich history.* The mouthwatering brisket will not only bring you joy as you perform your random "quality control" tests, but will make each and every guest smile as they come through the line._*Responsibilities will include...*_* Having FUN!* Keeping us efficient, profitable, and generous ensuring that we live up to the legendary Black's Barbecue name, and 80+ years of history.* Being a valuable, cooperative, and contributing part of our leadership team, headed by Pitmaster Kent Black.* Directing the day to day activities to ensure our guests are consistently receiving phenomenal Texas Barbecue, and first class Texas hospitality.* Assist with tracking and managing labor and food cost on each shift in alignment with our goals.* Count, balance, and reconcile cash drawers and prepare deposits.* Schedule and assign duties to team members.* Ensure all guest relations standards are met and surpassed by all team members.* Ensure sanitation and cleanliness exceeds Black's, Federal, and State regulations.* Anticipate and fulfill our guest's needs and resolve any of our guests issues.* Build relationships with our guests, team members and other parts of the leadership team.* Complete daily tasks, appropriate logs, and reports.* Maintain and route all personnel paperwork timely and according to standards.* Record and verify daily financial information.* Coach and mentor other team members.* Hire, mentor, coach, and terminate hourly team members when necessary.* Mentor and coach team members in career growth.* Monitor team performance and ensure team members are serving our guests exceeding ours and the guests expectations.* Mediate team member issues, and recommend disciplinary action when necessary.* Screen, interview, and recommend external candidates for hourly positions to leadership.* Perform other related duties above and beyond expectations and as assigned._*What We're Looking For...*_* Assertive, self-motivated, innovative personality with high level of initiative.* A highly developed sense of customer service and interpersonal skills.* High degree of creativity and organization.* Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with a Texas Charm.* Three to Five years related experience.* Strong attention to details.* Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Drive software.* A fierce drive to continually learn and improve oneself._*Ability to...*_* Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.* Analyze and interpret technical procedures, or governmental regulations.* Write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.* Effectively present information, and respond to questions from all levels of management, vendors, customers, and the general public.* Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.* Compute rate, ratio, and percent.* Draw and interpret bar graphs.* Solve practical problems, and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.* Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.* Stand, walk, sit, use hands to, handle, or feel, and talk or hear.* Reach with hands and arms.* Occasionally lift and/or move up to 90 pounds._*Must Haves...*__*/*/*/*REQUIRED/*/*/* Must have 5 years restaurant management experience.*_* Valid driver's license, and be insurable on company's insurance policy.* Positive attitude.* Proven manager experience, and success in a high-energy, fast-paced restaurant.* Understanding that customer service, and food quality are #1.* Reliable transportation, and means of communication when not at one of our locations.Benefit Conditions:* Waiting period may applyWork Remotely* No/*/*/* SALARY WILL BE COMMENSURATE WITH EXPERIENCE /*/*/*Job Type: Full-timePay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per yearBenefits:* Dental insurance* Employee discount* Health insurance* Paid time off* Vision insuranceWork Location: In person
