Social House is looking for an Executive Kitchen Manager to join our team!Social House is seeking a dedicated, professional Executive Kitchen Manager ready to make a difference. Social House is a scratch kitchen, locally owned small business specializing in upscale casual dining. Our Executive Kitchen Manager is the core of our kitchen operations. We are looking for someone that can potentially develop into a multi-unit role as the company grows. They are responsible for upholding our food standards and the fluid execution of business from both a strategic and functional level.As EKM, you will work closely with Regional and General Managers, as well as store-level management teams, participating in high-level conversations around store initiatives, performance, and strategic programs.The ideal candidate will have a systems & numbers-driven mindset, operate with integrity, act professionally, and approach problem-solving with a positive attitude.*The Social House Concept: What makes us...*_*US!*_*Our Menu*: Social House features 2 menus: Our Main Menu and our Brunch Menu. Each menu highlights items that are made from scratch. Our concept is very prep-heavy and requires constant management to achieve the level of quality and execution in our dishes. From hand-cut Filet Mignon to Fried Pickles, we offer a wide variety of menu options to our clientele.*Owner-Operated and Growing*: As a company, we have four locations located throughout Texas. We are a smaller company with a tight-knit team that has increased over the past two years. This position will be set to grow into a multi-unit role as we expand our operations to new concepts and locations. Any decision we make has these core values in mind.*Key Responsibilities:** Kitchen Management/Cost Control:* Utilize _*PREP LISTS *_daily. Assist and oversee all food preparation.* Conduct _*LINE CHECKS *_frequentlyto control food quality and freshness.* Perform weekly inventories/Manage food cost utilizing our systems.* Ensure all food execution and final plating meets company and recipe standards.* Spearhead any changes to the menu: I.e., Seasonal items, recipe modifications.* Collaborate and communicate with GMs (General Manager) on financial reports and actionable programs.* Employee Relations and Labor Control:* Train and develop kitchen staff.* Manage the schedule, adhering to labor projections and budgets.* Ensure all food safety procedures are strictly adhered to according to regulations.* Troubleshoot any issues with food items, processes, safety, and hazards.* Follow company policies and procedures regarding the property, products, and equipment.*Required Skills:** At least 4 years of Kitchen Management experience in a supervisory capacity in a full-service restaurant, with a minimum annual sales volume of $2.5 Million.* Must have strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with staff and senior leadership effectively.* Maintain expertise in the menu, including the ingredients, preparation methods, and plating standards.* Strong understanding of financial aspects and the ability to use technology and data to drive results.* Adaptable, flexible, and resilient, able to handle pressure and changing circumstances positively.* Ability to meet the job's physical demands, including standing for extended periods of time and lifting heavy objects.* Experience using Excel and the Microsoft Suite of applications.*Preferred Skills:** Bilingual is highly preferred.* Experience working in a scratch kitchen concept.* Multi-Unit exposure.Job Type: Full-timePay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per yearBenefits:* Employee discount* Flexible schedule* Health insurance* Paid time off* Paid trainingExperience:* Scratch Kitchen: 3 years (Preferred)Language:* English (Preferred)* Spanish (Preferred)Ability to Commute:* Fort Worth, TX 76107 (Required)Ability to Relocate:* Fort Worth, TX 76107: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In person
