We’re searching for a proactive, detail-driven professional who’s passionate about tenant experience, leasing success, and getting the job done right the first time. You’ll work side-by-side with our Portfolio Managers to keep operations running smoothly, residents happy, and properties full.*What You’ll Do**Tenant Relations & Communication** Be the first line of support for tenants—answer questions, resolve issues, and follow through with care* Manage communications across phone, email, and portals with clarity and professionalism* Coordinate seamless move-ins and move-outs, including inspections and logistics* Assist with lease enforcement and help resolve tenant challenges*Leasing Operations** Post and manage listings with accuracy and marketing appeal* Schedule and conduct showings for prospective tenants* Support the application and screening process, ensuring compliance with Fair Housing laws* Prepare leases, renewals, and amendments* Keep all leasing documentation organized and up to date in AppFolio*Operational Support** Track unit readiness and coordinate with vendors during turns* Monitor leasing and occupancy status across your portfolio* Support maintenance scheduling and unit preparation* Partner with the Portfolio Manager to drive operational efficiency*What You Bring**Must-Haves:** 3+ years of experience in residential leasing or property management* Clear communicator—both written and verbal—with great people skills* Strong attention to detail and organizational superpowers* Confidence with tech tools (Microsoft Office, Google Suite)* Self-starter mindset—you don’t wait to be told what to do* Reliable transportation (occasional local travel with mileage reimbursement)*Bonus Points:** AppFolio experience* Bilingual (Spanish is a plus)* Knowledge of Fair Housing laws*Why You’ll Love Working Here*At Walters & Company, we move fast, support each other, and take pride in delivering results.
