We are currently experiencing rapid growth and seek immediate help in our production department.The Position:Machine Operator: Summary: This full-time position entails maintaining the operation of a paper bag manufacturing machine. The major aspects of the job include machine set up operation, changeover, repair and troubleshooting equipment when necessary.Position Requirements:* Must be able to work independently and ensure that production quotas are met.* Must understand, follow and enforce all established safety, health and quality practices as well as Company policies, procedures and processes.* Must complete all quality and system checks and maintain production logs of daily output* Must possess advanced DIY, mechanical and technical skills to ensure machines maximize production output.* Must interact and support other operating functions that contribute to achieving desired Company objectives.* Must be able to use and read a measuring tape.* Must be able to use hand held Mechanical powred tools* Must be able to lift 50 lbs.Position Qualifications:* 1 to 2 years of Leadership experience (Teamlead,Supervisor or Manager)* Minimum of 2 years experience operating a manufacturing machine* Basic Mechanical experience is a must* Basic computer skills to program machine to operating specifications* 5 years of experience in a fast paced manufacturing facility* Possess strong interpersonal skills* Basic math and written communication skills● *Hours: Must be able to work night shift/ Rotating Schedules including Weekends and Overtime.
