Job Description- Cook*Harold's Chicken Shack* (also referred to as *Harold's Chicken*, or simply *Harold's*) is a chain of fried chicken restaurants located primarily in Chicago, Illinois. Harold's has been a notable part of Chicago's South Side culture and is known for its uniquely prepared chicken. Harold'sChicken Shack is a notable part of the culture of Chicago's South Side and South Suburbs. The restaurant is often alluded to by the hip-hop community.*Duties and Responsibilities*:Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.• Prepare customer orders with accuracy and efficiency• Provide quality service, taking pride in working behind the scenes to prepare quality products for our customers.• Contribute to an overall positive and collaborative environment, customers, and vendors by identifying and rectifying hazards and/or equipment in need of maintenance.• Collaborates with team members and communicates relevant information to direct leader.• Must be able to plate all orders.• Must keep cooking area clean• Upholds the security and confidentiality of documents and data within area of responsibility.• Other duties as assigned.*Education and Experience: *• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.• Must have food and sanitation• A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.*Job Qualifications*:Knowledge/Skills/Abilities• Ability to perform general cleaning duties to company standards• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.• Gives attention to detail and follows instructions.• Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.• Effective time management; maximizes productivity.• Knowledge of products and services of the company.*Physical Demands*:• Regularly required to, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk about the store./_Harold’s Chicken is committed to equal opportunity for all employees and applicants.
