Job Description

*Summary *The position requires a self-driven individual who can work autonomously and take initiative. Must be proficient in the use of a coordinate measuring machine and hand gauges to measure plastic injection molded parts. The individual is required to analyze and act when discrepancies are identified to ensure customer and internal requirements are met.*Essential Duties and Responsibilities** Participate in the APQP process, collaborate with the team for problem resolution and tool modifications.* Leading the development of APQP required PPAP documentation.* Accurately measure parts, report and prepare a PPAP package.* Conducts AIAG Measurement System Analysis.* Accurately measure, analyze, and report dimensional results.* Manage the calibration system.* Continuous improvement projects and other duties, as assigned.*Supervisory Responsibilities** N/A*Competencies/Skills** CMM operation and programming, as well as caliper, micrometer, height gauges, etc.* Ability to read and understand part drawings as well as GD&T.* Possess strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving abilities.* Highly motivated, desire to grow with the company.* Reliable, punctual, with good attendance.* Good time management and organizational skills.* Good written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of basic Excel, Word, PowerPoint.*Qualifications*To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
