Restaurant Host/Hostess

*Job Overview*We are seeking an enthusiastic and friendly Host/Host to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and a positive dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, a passion for guest relations, and the ability to manage reservations efficiently. The Host/Host will play a crucial role in maintaining the flow of service while providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.*Duties** Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.* Manage reservations and waitlists using Aloha POS or similar systems.* Communicate effectively with guests regarding wait times and seating arrangements.* Maintain an organized front-of-house area, ensuring cleanliness and readiness for guests.* Answer phone calls with proper phone etiquette, assisting with inquiries and reservations.* Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.* Provide information about menu items, specials, and restaurant policies to guests.* Handle guest complaints or concerns professionally, escalating issues as necessary.*Requirements** Previous experience in a hotel or restaurant environment is preferred.* Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations.* Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with guests and team members.* Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.* Excellent phone etiquette for handling reservations and inquiries.* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.* Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.Join us in creating memorable experiences for our guests as part of our dedicated team!Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hourExpected hours: 4 – 35 per weekBenefits:* Flexible scheduleWork Location: In person
