General Farm Worker

*Job Description: General Farm Employees *This position encompasses all aspects of farming and a wide variety of tasks.*Responsibilities: *Repair farm equipment, to include:* keep machinery in good working order* conduct regular inspections* make needed repairs* providing supervisor with list of repair or replacement parts required.Field work to include:* operate crop machinery* maintain crop related equipment (i.e. irrigators)Corn dryer and bin operationFarm Maintenance* snow removal* tree/brush removalSpecial tasks/projects as assigned*Requirements:** Previous farm experience (3 years minimum)* Valid driver’s license* Ability to follow directions* Able to work as a member of a teamMust be in good physical condition to perform prolonged or repetitive standing, sitting, lifting, carrying, and pushing/pulling* Experience operating current large farm equipment.* License for spraying operations a plus.* Knowledge of Arc/Tig/Plasma welding equipment* Basic knowledge of electrical maintenanceJob Type: Full-timePay: $5,000.00 - $6,000.00 per monthBenefits:* Paid time offSchedule:* Monday to Friday* Weekend availabilityEducation:* High school or equivalent (Preferred)Experience:* Farming: 3 years (Required)Work Location: In person
