CNC Operator/Set-up

*Job description*CNC Machining Operator/Set-up needed for growing Bradenton manufacturer.We are a small, family- and woman-owned company manufacturing hundreds of products based on our proprietary vacuum mounts. We are an air conditioned facility!Hiring for PM shift, 12pm-10pm Monday through Thursday. 30-60 training period will be conducted on the morning shift. Hours for training may be negotiable depending on candidate needs. Final shift will be 12pm-10pm after completion of training.This position will eventually cross-train in our CNC Router department, to include handling some secondary operations as needed.*Responsibilities:** Operate CNC Mills (Brother, Ganesh), CNC Lathes (Ganesh, Takisawa), CNC Bandsaw (Cosen);* Setup jobs according to job sheets;* Inspect products from machines for quality assurance (using precision measuring instruments & comparing to blueprints);* Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories and materials onto machines;* Replace broken or worn tooling during production run to adhere to quality standards;* Maintain equipment by use of preventative maintenance and manufacturer's recommendations;* Learn router department basics and support evening operations as needed;* Follow standard safety requirements; and* Handle materials appropriately and safely.*Qualifications:** Prior experience operating CNC mill and lathes (2+ years experience required, setup experience preferred);* Ability to lift raw material and product up to 50 pounds;* Positive attitude & ability to work with others; and* Ability to be on their feet for a full shift.*Benefits:** Pay rate $17-21/hr depending on prior experience and skill level.* 11 Days Paid Vacation and 3 Days Paid Sick/Personal Leave (eligible after 60 days).* Health, dental, and eye insurance available.
