*Job Description:*Oversee, direct, and coordinate the planning, organizing, training, and leadership of restaurant staff necessary to achieve stated objectives; sales, costs, employee retention, guest service and satisfaction, food quality, cleanliness, and sanitation.Ensure that all restaurant policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training programs are followed and completed on a timely basis.Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly, and courteous service at all times.Ensure that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to the restaurant’s recipes, portioning, cooking, and serving standards.Perform various financial activities, such as cash handling, deposit preparation, and payroll.Prepare all required paperwork, including forms, reports and schedules in an organized and timely manner.Fully understand and comply with all federal, state, county and municipal regulations that pertain to health, safety and labor requirements of the restaurant, employees, and guests.Be knowledgeable of restaurant policies regarding personnel.Oversee and ensure that restaurant policies on employee performance reviews are followed and completed on a timely basis.Continually strive to develop staff in all areas of managerial and professional development and recommend measures for improving work procedures and worker performance to increase service quality and enhance job safety.Attend all scheduled employee meetings and offer suggestions for improvement.*This Job Is:*A job for which military experienced candidates are encouraged to applyOpen to applicants who do not have a college diploma*Qualifications** 2+ years GM restaurant experience* Proven experience in staff training and management within a restaurant setting* Strong background in food service management and kitchen operations* Excellent supervisory and team management skills* Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha and Micros* Experience in inventory control and cash handling* Knowledge of food preparation and fine dining service standards* Relevant experience in casual dining, banquet service, and catering operationsJob Type: Full-timePay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per yearBenefits:* Employee discount* Health insuranceWork Location: In person
