*Job Overview*The Honey Hole is a thriving high volume brunch restaurant located in the heart of Houston! We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Manager to oversee our kitchen operations and ensure the highest standards of food quality and service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary excellence, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional hospitality. As a Kitchen Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing kitchen staff, maintaining inventory, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.*Duties** Supervise daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality food preparation.* Manage and train kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment while enhancing their skills.* Schedule and manage BOH staff, including hiring and training* Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and controlling food costs within budget.* Implement and maintain health and safety standards in accordance with local regulations.* Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction.* Maintain safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards at all times* Utilize Toast POS systems for tracking orders, managing payments, and optimizing kitchen efficiency.* Develop menus that reflect seasonal ingredients while considering customer preferences.* Supervise prep and cooking staff to ensure food accuracy, quality, and presentation* Monitor food presentation to ensure it meets the restaurant's standards of excellence.* Conduct weekly and monthly cost reports and kitchen performance reviews* Foster a strong team culture focused on consistency and high performance*Qualifications:** 3+ years of proven experience as a Kitchen Manager, Assistant KM, or Executive Chef with kitchen volume exceeding $1M annually* 2+ years of hands-on culinary experience* Experience with menu development and costing* Deep knowledge of brunch-style cuisine and classic recipes* Strong leadership and team management skills in a fast-paced environment* Mastery of food safety and sanitation protocols* Excellent communication, organizational, and conflict resolution skills* Availability for daytime, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts*Benefits:** Competitive salary: $55,000 – $70,000* Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance* Paid Time Off* Opportunity for growth within a dynamic restaurant groupJob Type: Full-timePay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per yearBenefits:* 401(k)* Health insurance* Paid time offShift:* Day shift* Morning shiftShift availability:* Day Shift (Required)Ability to Commute:* Houston, TX 77056 (Required)Work Location: In person
