We are looking for looking a positive person with a "can do" approach to help grow our team in Fort Worth where we will carry out assembly, maintenance, and repair of various pieces of equipment used by Governmental agencies around the globe. In this role you will perform the following duties:* Utilize blueprints and/or other technical publications to disassemble, assemble and test mechanical equipment with little to no supervision.* Analyze equipment and use your problem-solving skills to troubleshoot failures and how to correct them.* Perform quality inspection and acceptance testing of equipment as required. Document assembly, repair, and inspection findings to support traceability and quality requirements.* Be proactive in identifying improvements that will support a more efficient and world class operation.* Participate and support Marand’s commitment to Health & Safety, complying with all requirements and legislated obligations* Work collaboratively with other employees and leadership to ensure all products are delivered on time, at the right cost and to the required quality requirements.*Required Skills:** At least 3 years' experience in an industrial manufacturing, maintenance, repair, or overhaul environment* Ability to read and interpret blueprints and/or other technical publications* Proficient knowledge and ability to use common hand tools* Ability to set up and use different types of mechanical measuring devices* Strong mechanical aptitude with attention to detail* Knowledgeable in the use of lifting equipment such as lifting cranes, forklifts would be an advantage* A “can do” attitude with an approach to solving problems* A team player* Computer skills (excel, word, etc.)*Desired Skills and/or experience:** Commerical or industrial HVAC system experience or qualifications* Diesel engine mechanic experience or qualifications* Welding certifications*Company Info: *Marand USA is a wholly owned subsidiary of Marand Precision Engineering Pty Ltd in Australia, a leading supplier of precision engineered solutions for Defense, Aerospace, Energy, Automotive, Rail and Mining.
