Table 33, now situated in the historic downtown Dayton Arcade, is currently hiring multiple Back of House EmployeesIf you are passionate about hospitality and have an unwavering commitment to excellence with the ability to anticipate guests’ needs, we invite you to become an integral part of our team. Positions include Lead Line Cook, Line Cooks, Prep Cooks, and Dishwashers. Join our team and work in a fast-paced and rewarding environment!Position Overview* Preparation and execution of meals in alignment with our established menu and quality benchmarks.* Creating and testing new recipes, as well as modifying existing ones to suit customer preferences and dietary requirements.* Supervising and training kitchen staff members, ensuring they follow the established standards of quality, hygiene, and safety.* Sous Chefs will plan and manage the daily operations of the kitchen when the Executive Chef and General Manager are not present.* Handle customer complaints and special requests, as well as liaising with the front-of-house staff to ensure smooth communication and coordination.* Enforce compliance with food safety regulations, sanitation protocols, and waste management practices.* Support in stock management, adherence to food safety practices, maintain cleanliness, and ensure proper functioning of kitchen tools.* Collaborating with the chef, sous chef, and other BOH team members to maintain excellence and uniformity in dish preparation.* Coordinating with FOH personnel to guarantee prompt and precise order service.Qualifications* Have at least three years of experience in a similar role in a reputable restaurant.* Possess knowledge of various cuisines, cooking techniques, and ingredients.* The ability to follow recipes and instructions.* Show attention to detail, creativity, and presentation skills.* Exhibit teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.* A food handler's certificate is preferred for the sous chef.* Proficiency in English and dependable transportation are required!* You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple tasks, and follow directions.* You must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for long periods of time.* You must be flexible and willing to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.Employee Benefits* Competitive pay* Health & Wellness Opportunity* Aflac insurance after six months of employment* Meal discounts and staff events* Opportunities for training and career advancement* A supportive and respectful work environmentHow to Apply* Send your resume to .* Please include your availability and resume.* Shortlisted candidates will be contacted to schedule an interview.*We are an equal opportunity employer and welcome applicants from all diverse backgrounds.*Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $13.00 - $20.00 per hourExpected hours: 20 – 40 per weekBenefits:* Employee discount* Flexible schedule* Health insurance* Paid time off* Paid trainingExperience:* Restaurant: 2 years (Required)* Restaurant management: 2 years (Preferred)License/Certification:* ServSafe (Preferred)Shift availability:* Day Shift (Preferred)* Night Shift (Preferred)Ability to Commute:* Dayton, OH 45402 (Required)Work Location: In person
